Q: Is this what you do for a living? Regardless, how did you start out in photography? Your photos are brilliant.
A:
No, it’s my hobby only. I bought a camera (Nikon dSLR) to take photos of my family having fun, and started also taking landscape photos now and then, and uploading the results to Flickr. Then I followed a ton of ppl whom I admire on Flickr and tried to copy what they were doing. I would also comment, and ask questions. Some answer, some don’t. It’s OK. Then I tried my own, and read more material on the web while shooting stuff and found a niche - I like taking photos of the places I visit, and I try to photograph it the way I’d like to remember it.
I still have a long way to go to get to the level I want to be at. But, I like sharing the world how I imagine it looked at that second of time. Thanks for the question.
