Always Smiling
This guy seems to always be happy, no matter how many times I’ve passed by. In all seriousness, Pirates is probably my most favorite ride. I love the smell, the colors, the water, and the scenes that have been created. It’s entertaining, and almost very relaxing!
Although I sharpened, corrected levels, and saturated this photo a tiny bit it’s basically straight out of the camera.

Night Lights
Walking down Main Street USA at California Disneyland on a warm night, I spotted the Crystal Arcade with its shining lights. I wish I had more room or a different lens at the time, but you make due with what you have at 50mm’s.
As a teenager, this and the arcade next to Space Mountain was my favorite places to go. Now, it’s the rides and fun with family. See the next photo for an explanation of that.

The Weekend
After a nice long week, a few days off is going to feel great! Hopefully you have some great plans to relax, and have fun?
This photo was taken looking back on San Francisco after a business trip to company headquarters. It being late in the day, the sun has start to set, giving a golden reflection in along the bay.
Wish me luck in my grass volleyball tournament!

The Painted Ladies
Across the street from Alamo Square park in San Francisco, CA, are 7 houses known also as “Post Card Row.” These houses are famous - they’ve been in over 70 movies, TV programs, ads, and in the opening credits of the American TV show, Full House (Wikipedia).

Postcard Row
Another view of the Postcard Row, or the “Painted Ladies”. I was inspired to visit this location after viewing Flickr’s Explore a few months ago. I saw a photo just like it in that day’s Interesting photos.
I recently posted a sunset view of the same location here.
The location of these famous 7 houses isn’t too far from downtown, and they reside just in front of a nice park called Alamo Square Park in the Western Addition of town. It was fun to see all the photographers gather as the sun went down, and see the park-gatherers with kids and pets stroll or run by. What a beautiful location!
